Doru E Ursutiu, University Transilvania of Brasov

Doru E. Ursutiu ­ born in 1951, graduated Faculty of Physics - University of Cluj in 1974, Doctor in Solid State Physics ­ Noise and Fluctuations in Electronic Systems and Devices. He is Full Professor at the University ?Transylvania” of Brasov ­ Romania and Executive Manager of Center for Valorization and Transfer of Competence CVTC. He is member of Executive Committee of Central European Chapter (CEC) of the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) and member and of the steering committee of the annual International Symposium "Remote Engineering and Virtual Instrumentation" (REV, www.online-lab.net/rev). He has published more than 150 scientific papers in journals and at national and international conferences. His research interests include Noise and Fluctuations in Electronic Systems, Distributed and Remote Controlled Systems, Graphical Programming (LabVIEW) and Virtual Instrumentation, Physics and Engineering Educational Technologies.
