Abstract


Remote vocational education is the combination of remote education and vocational education, playing an important role in training applied talents and lifelong education. The healthy development of vocational education can be achieved and the workers meeting the social need can be trained through the platform of remote education, which has become a new issue that the modern remote vocational education faces. The main models and ways of remote vocational education in several western developed countries are analyzed, and their advanced experiences are summarized. Making Linyi City, China as an example, the problems of the current remote vocational education are focused on, especially in the view of the government management, social recognition, remote training, professional setting and the exchange between teachers and students. In order to promote the speedy and orderly development of remote vocational education in China, the corresponding suggestions and countermeasures are put forward.
